Fuck the Peace Corps! Just watched a story on 20/20 about the organization. What people never hear about are the MANY female volunteers who are assaulted and gang raped by savages in the holes of the world where they volunteer. Not only that but the Peace Corps has abandoned these women and tried to cover up the ugly truth of what has been going on for quite a while now. You've got to be out of your God damned mind to earn a college degree and then go VOLUNTEER in a third world country

@moonlitphantasm It seems you have a very limited understanding of the complex issues facing third world countries today and the extent of sexual assault in the Peace Corps and here in the U.S. (I have to add: your highly offensive choice of words in referring to individuals from underserved communities as "savages" speaks volumes about your lack of education and smacks of a pre-civil rights era all Americans - and World Citizens, for that matter - should hope had long passed.)

@moonlitphantasm I did 3 tours as a Peace Corps Volunteer. yes, one volunteer I knew was raped. She accepted a ride from 2 guys she had never met before. Things like that also happen in the states. If you aren't careful and take chances then, things may happen. Peace Corps is the best Volunteer organization in the world.

@moonlitphantasm Volunteers know the risk, their desire to do good things in the PC overpowers those risks and fears they have. Yeah the PC hasnt done such a swell job in preventing these things, but you have to do your research first before you join, and decide if you want take those risks, dont just jump into it. And if your just badmouthing PC, its probably becuause your scared,....so grow some balls, like the women in the PC!

Anyone perpetrating gang rape is a savage, I don't care what part of the world they reside in. Since these are underserved areas does that make it all ok? By your logic it seems so? Direct your anger at the bureaucrats in the Peace Corpse who are trying to silence the victims

Wowww, This is so inspiring to me!! I absolutely want to do this at some point in my life, and this helped me take a sneak peak into what living over there is like. Did you teach students in Madagascar? Great video :D
