@Itcus1 Actually the Balfour Declaration called for a homeland for the Jews "in" Palestine and not the "whole" of Palestine. It also insisted that nothing be done to prejudice the civil and religious rights of the non-Jewish population. I agree with you on the other point.

I totally agree with Norman finklestien on the issue of the Israeli supporter, he should've asked his questions in a calm way, not shouted etc. and shown some respect. I was actually curious what he was gonna ask and his own views/argument (even though I am a firm Palestinian supporter)

@oldjoe5 I agree. Most Americans I know are good, decent people and they would be appalled to know their taxes were funding such crimes. I'm Australian, and I'm saddened that our politicians don't criticise Israeli actions. I know for a fact that if most Australians knew the truth they would be outraged.

US citizens? They don't even know they are paying for this. Plus they are fed constant pro Israeli right wing propaganda, so even if they find out how depp Israel has her hand into our pocket, they don't alwaus object.
