Memphis v. Kansas - 2009 Nov. 17 - Last 6 Minutes

The last 6 minutes, presented with stoppages cut out, of the November 17th game between the Memphis Tigers and the Kansas Jayhawks.

Seeing as how #2 was featured in a video I did today, featuring #1 as well seems right. The 2008 national title rematch wasn't expected to be close, but some great Memphis fight down the stretch gave them a chance in the final seconds.

As we begin, Kansas (white) leads Memphis (in blue) 44-37, with Memphis having possession of the ball.

wow still arguing guys?? KU is 3-0 last 3 years against Memphis. If your still blaming the game on stupid things like free throws, effort, etc. then thats pathetic. Your team played hard and lost all 3 years and at the end of the day you just need to realize you lost to a really great program and need to accept the fact your team lost in a fair game...now move on, its a freaking game

@reformcongress Slowing down doesn't mean they stop trying. It means to slow the pace, but Kansas pushed the pace and dominated that final 2 minutes.  Memphis did in fact miss free throws(not because they stopped trying but because they SUCKED AT IT). Kansas made their final 14 free throws. Memphis didn't.

Memphis didn't stop trying. They stopped performing.
