Hello. Is Brian Doerksen the original writer of the song? I remember singing it from a hymnal over 20 years ago, but I don't remember who the inscription had as the writer.

I don't know if Brian Doerksen is the original writer of the song. According to the copyright on the cd of Brian Doerksen it is already made in 1990 (Copyright © 1990 Mercy Publishing), so it could be that you sang this song about 20 years ago. Does someone else here knows if Brian Doerksen is the original writer?
