Now synonymous with Japanese pop culture and almost a daily sight on the countrys city streets, it is difficult to envision a Japan without its maids and the culture they represent.

  • this video was suprisingly deep....

  • The maids in Japan (specifically in秋葉原) are similar to many of the guys who visit there everyday. Many of them are shy quite people, and want to be able to interact more with people, and who may need encouragement in do so. They maid cafes are a great way of doing so because they bring in two people who would otherwise never meet, and forces them to interact. I'd recommend the movie: 'Akihabara Geeks' as it again show this.
