I grew up in a Satmar milieu. We were taught that all languages but three were called "goyish": Lushen Koidesh (the first language, spoken by Udum, chaveh, ind der Heiliger Bashefer), Yiddish (spoken by inzer heilige rebbes) and Ungarish (azoi vi mir hubben aleh geret in der heim).
