And now, Bethany Looney takes her seat as she plays against Terry Ray, a former competitor on the real show who took it for $14,000 straight, and reminds everyone one of his best moments was. The winner then goes on to beat the Sprint time, and the one with the best time goes to the Bonus Sprint for a chance at $17,000

*DIFFERENCE FROM THE SHOW: besides the bonus squares, the champion now plays the second crossword game in an attempt to go back to the Scrabble Sprint to beat the time, like they used to do before the Bonus Sprint was initiated. Also, champions can stay on as until defeated. Bonus Sprint starts at $10,000 and grows by $1,000 each time it's not hit*

@aceofmille Yes, but I changed it this way. In the old days of Scrabble, the champion used to BEAT the time rather than set it when they brought the Bonus Sprint format up, so I made it that way to keep the old day spirit in

great job again Michael. If you wind up doing another Scrabble project in the future, I'd like to be a contestant mainly besides the fact I'm a Scrabble junkie but my fiance's late grandmother also watched Scrabble religiously so I thought it would be a nice homage to her.
