No matter what, no matter where, God is present. As Jacob learned, "How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven."
In the ancient Latin phrase, "Vocatus atque non vocatus, Deus aderit": Bidden or unbidden, God will be present.
Sister Rose, what is the first image? Was it designed to create a religious experience?

The first image is a fractal created with Fractal Explorer (freeware) and enhanced with PhotoShop. The center of the image is from one of NASA's wonderful spiral galaxy photos. To me, the image as a whole suggests both the cross and the magnificence of the cosmos. Others may see something very different it it. Thanks for asking.

Just to add one more thing, Timothy, to my first reply: the combination of the cross and the cosmos symbolizes for me the love God has for all that has been created -- and that, of course, includes each one of us.

I hope and trust that your perception goes deeper than the spaghetti monster! Thanks for viewing.
