  • Deforestation is a factor in 'man made global warming', ergo, there is such a thing as man made global warming.

Human CO2 production is more than 1% from what I understand, but regardless, multiply that by 150 years of industrial activity, and there's now a lot more CO2 in the atmosphere than nature had to deal with in the previous thousands of years.

The scientific opinion isn't divided and the issue is very much existent. Public opinion is divided because it's ill-informed or ignorant.

  • @Nightmonkey17 I'm pretty sure global warming was an issue even back then. He probably didn't do the science that established the fact of man - made global warming either, but I'm sure he agreed with it, he was a scientist after all.

  • Something to consider, with all the stars in the known universe there could be an average of a few hundred times that many planets and Earthlike planets outnumber higher massed ones. It has been projected that the universe could be 10^23 times wider in all directions than the known universe. The Earh is an amazing place though. We should do whatever we can to educate ourselves about this world and strengthen it though.

  • @OneWorldHistory I don't mean to rain sulfuric acid on your parade, but the Earth's atmosphere is actually around 300 miles thick.

  • it's 1980, i checked it out

  • Both the cosmos and the internet are serious buisness

  • @Paalfaal I'm thinking early 80s, but I'm not sure. I've yet to hear from the person who put up these videos, though.

  • Even back then, they were talking about the effects of global warming.

  • Sagan predicted global warming like 30 years in advance.

  • @chamkila2

I think he is hotter than paris hilton.

  • when was this made?
