I'm not gonna lie, it is really difficult at first if you have no prior knowledge of 3d modeling. If your really committed there are plenty of online communities that offer wonderful tutorials and support like blenderartists, blendernewbies, and cgcookie. I hope you decide to give it a try.

How is this kind of awesomeness done? do you connect rendering and game engine somehow so that it looks like the rendered picture but is playable?

Great job, however I found the duck throwing very unrealistic. The physics of the impacts are completely off. Not trying sound like a naysayer, just point the obvious out. Boy am I going to get flamed for this.

it wasn`t meant to be realistic :), just showing off soft body objects. and yeah collision-bounds are bigger than the object itself, but at that time i didn`t knew how to fix that.
