  • Yes, have all noticed how all the very best musicians-pianists often keep their fingers quite close to the keys? -- and it appears often as if very little effort is required - that's their excellent fingering among other things. Rubinstein himself admitted a dramatic improvement in his musicality once he stopped the flourishes of his youth...
