Once you have got your spring in put the pipe the other side of your knee and then pull towards you don't try to get the whole bend at one exact point it will kink on sharper bends,start bend then slightly move pipe left a touch bend a bit then right a touch then bend a bit till you get desired angle this stops kinking and helps stop spring opening inside pipe and making the copper ripple.
Also slightly over band and then bend it back a touch and this will let you get the spring out easier. :)

For the novice it might have been helpful if you'd shown what would happen if you hadn't used a pipe spring.

Annealing the copper will save you a lot of effort if you are gonna be doing several bends. Blow torch, until the area you want to bend is glowing and allow to cool - do not cool in water, this will cause the cooper to crack when bending. The copper pipe will bend much more easily now. Or you can just be a tough guy & bend it raw. Aaaarrrgggghhh! Great vids keep up the good work.
