i really enjoyed watching senso... i wish all period dramas were made like this- authenic and passionate almost as if though they filmed it in the mid 19th century not the 20th.
Ashamed to say I was so ignorant on the Austrian-Italian war of 1866. Defo want to read more on it.
What a bastard Franz Mahler was... that was a heavy price he paid but deserved in a way.
