BAPS London Temple on FRANCE 2 Channel

Ce temple a entièrement été construit en utilisant des méthodes et des matériaux traditionnels. Son inauguration a eu lieu le 20 Août 1995. Le bâtiment est un chef-dœuvre de maçonnerie et dartisanat indien.

Ce lieu de culte abrite les anciens arts et traditions hindous ainsi que les divinités et les motifs représentant la foi et les croyances sacrées dun peuple vieux de plus de 8 500 ans.

Le musée du BAPS Shri Swaminarayan comprend lexposition « Understanding Hinduism » (Comprendre lhindouisme), une exposition permanente couvrant plus de 278 mètres carrés au rez-de-chaussée consacrée à lorigine et aux croyances de lhindouisme en sappuyant pour cela sur des effets visuels, des peintures, des tableaux et de lartisanat traditionnel.

Cest le plus grand temple hindou dEurope et a été cité dans le "Guiness World records " en 2000.

Le BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir se trouve à Neasden au nord de Londres, près des stations de métro Neasden ou Dollis Hill (toutes les deux sur la ligne Jubilee).

Tous les visiteurs de Londres qui entrent au temple Shri Swaminarayan sont invités à respecter le code vestimentaire
(Tenue détendue mais correcte : pas de shorts, ni de jupes au-dessus du genou) et les fidèles.

She is telling that " we can not imagine that, there is big Hindu Temple in London. She adds more "Lots of britain people in london dont know about this temple....she is telling that even the drive of the TAXI who dropped us here dont know about this temple..... he said its been 18 years I am a taxi driver in London and I dont know this temple.

She said, " The temple in London is the biggest Hindu Temple in Europe but there are even more in the world. She said this temple is constructed in 1995. They also have temple in Jhonesbourg, Uganda, Kenya which is similar as London Temple. They also have temple in Atlanta, Chicago, Huston and all the time it is the same organisation hindu in India who manage all this temples.

Inaugeration of this London temple has been done in 1995, It is fabricated in different pieces of stone in India and then it has sent to london. They have nearlly 1500 piller ( sculture) and all sculpture has given a number and then it is arranged accordingly in London... also it has lotsof this kind of specific sculpture....but it is excellent....It a big and its a pleasure for eyes to see such big temple. Its open for all... to visit.

In the last she is telling, " we had a great reception... and if u wish to visit its open for all ... but there are some code to respect... for example, take out your shoes, women are not allowed to go in certain places....prohibited to take photos ...Etc...Etc...
