  • Sully Prudhomme, the first winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, was a poet and essayist. So does that mean the same thing would happend if she go for D: an essayist?

  • wow, that's interesting. I guess they would've had to eventually throw out the question and bring her back or something.

  • The guy hosting it looks young. How old is he.

  • he is only around 30. The youngest host of millionaire worldwide

  • Actually, I just looked at a currency converter, $1,000,000 rubbles is only worth about $40,000 U.S. dollars, so the 32,000 Rubbles that is guaranteed in the Russian version is only about $1,300!!!!

  • They changed the money ladder a while ago, the grand prize is now 3,000,000 (about $125,000).

  • The Japanese version is so silly, it hardly seems fair to call it a version of Millionaire.

  • true

  • I'm surprised how the audience makes no sound at all when she gets it wrong. XD

  • 468.000 руб. большая сумма А Григорий Ананьин 218.000 руб. имев 3 подсказки!

  • @wiiplayer9isback

Well, this was in 2004 - I'm that very Galina, by the way. Have taken up quiz as a hobby since then - it still puzzles me how come I did not know the answer, the question being quite simple really. God will I remember the name of Sully Prudhomme now LOL

  • The host looks like Bruno

  • The audience was just in complete silence.

  • Or in the 29th of January.

  • It was in 2005, January, 22

  • She never alone, because there are more than 30 top-prize losers in Japan. It DID happen once in 2009, before the US.

  • Well, she's not alone. We just had our first million dollar loser here in America.
