First Blood (1982)
Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981)
Deliverance (1972)
127 Hours (2010)
Cliffhanger (1993)
Defiance (2008)
Into the Wild (2007)
Cast Away (2000)
The Road (2009)
Red Dawn (1984)
The Edge (1997)
Alive (1993)
The Day After (TV 1983) A must see. It's not a funny movie, more disturbing than The Road.

Before you watch endurance, read or listen to the book first, I think you will "feel" it more, and yes, I mean feel. You will feel the cold, starvation and their pain and you will understand their obstacles more. It is an amazingly true story.

I made it as far as 0:43 of your video last night then checked Netflix for the movie Alive. They didn't have it to stream, but they did have a documentary called Stranded, with the actual people, photos they took and news footage of their return. I stayed up til 1a.m. watching it! Poor guys.... I couldn't believe the reporter asked them right off the bat, "What did you eat???" *awkward* It's amazing what people can get through. Thanks for the list!

When I think survival movies I think horror movies. Wolf Creek, a great Aussie film, comes to mind.
