They will go through many stages. Make sure to handle both of them the same amount so neither one of them gets jealous.

We  used to clip our birds but not any more. I'd rather take the chance of escape vs illness's. PizzaPip got out of the house in Aug. and we still get 'sightings' of him...last week he was only a block from us! Gae

I just got my Parrotlet almost 2 weeks ago, she's about 6 months old i named her Jovie, she's already starting to let me pet her like this.Yours is very cute little boy :)
