i just got done with the champions carnival last week. not really anything that lit my world on fire, but i expected that tbh. im not sure how far you got into the tournament but i did question the outcome of nagata and sawana, however that maybe a common thing in japan. im not sure though.

@LV5454 Modern day AJPW isn't the best for match quality but they have some good young talents and this tournament brought in some good outsiders that had my interest. To be honest I watched Nagata/Suwama a while ago and don't remember much from it. I suppose you mean an outsider beating AJPW's champion seems strange? In the wrong circumstances yes, but Nagata is widely loved and respected and all that, so it doesn't hurt anyone really.

You have a pick for Best of the Super Jnrs?

Tanahashi is edgy Cena, which in Japan, works out awesomely, because those who slap the smugness out of him are over, which happens better in Puroresu.

Shame that the Nagata/Tanahashi match didn't wow, because I was interested by the very abnormal 35 mins it got.

I actually loved Blue Justice vs. Bad Intentions from December quite a bit...

 kind of hard to pick on my end, so ill just pick devitt. mainly cause of the outsiders being involved.
