  • They don't say anything about it mirroring anything. Does the tank create an optical phenomenon that works like a mirror? Hmmm....

  • Thanks for the comment. We actually use a mirror as the rear surface of the aquarium, so the reflections are produced in the normal way. Although the illusion of the reflection inside is pretty cool. Thanks again.

  • Damnit! you did not just hurt the fish! sigh now you ruined your whole earth thing you had going on.

  • Thanks for the comments. What you witnessed was the power of video editing. The fish was fine and lived for several more months. I understand your concerns however...

  • wow, thats awesome! I had no idea what you can make of "trash". That looks amazing.

  • Well done, also pretty funny. I really dig the finished tank's look. Keep at it guys.

  • @ 9:48 he wants to make a redneck pool!

  • I love the dudes reaction before he sees the finished project! "What the fuck, I trusted you and you broke into my house" :D

Awsome mirror though, gives me lots of ideas!

  • @MrMattHerndon it is, ppl throw away the most useful things. if u can recycle that for some nice stuff, why not?

  • homely video

  • No offense, but dumpster diving isn't exactly a great way to advertise your cause.

  • very good i lacked dis program fantastic

  • I think one-way glass would have worked a bit better for this. That way you would see the fish when you turn the lights off and be better able to use the mirror even if the tank gets a bit dirty. Pretty cool build though and in general a neat idea.

  • That sounds like what I would do. Were you involved with this project and the video? If you look at 7:25, both larger pieces of glass are obviously transparent panes of glass. When the aquarium is presented to the 'victim', it does look like it is reflecting. I wish they included the rest of the steps...
