Hey guys, ok picked up some new body filler to replace my bad batch. I did not have a chance to to do any sanding on the car, it got cold fast. So i need to let the filler cure overnight before i sand it.

  • @BaileyBlade just awesome your making so much vids now, thnx for that

  • @TheEvanovitch Thanks man, i am working hard on trying to get one out everyday or so.

  • So that's how you make a super car?! Barefoot, with cardboard in hand and on parts of the car. :D

    j/lk .Nice progress!

  • @TheEnDBG LOL, yep, and in 29 degree weather. Barefoot is key to making super cars... haha

  • idk if you've said this before.. but when do you think this will be done?

  • @killerjunior23 Not real sure, its hard to tell, there is still a lot to do after the molds are made. Mostly money is what slows me down.

  • Loves how he does it without shoes ! I prefer sandals ") LOL !!

  • never used the cardboard technique, normaly just apply the filler over the door seams and cut the door line out of it

  • luv it! such helpful and inspiring vids, super

  • What if you put wax paper on the cardboard? that might help make it stick less to the bondo when its drying...

  • looks pretty good. I never liked the holed back with the round lights. looks too old. maybe flatten it so it has the same sharp lines as the hips, maybe some bar lights instead of the round. just a thought

  • whaat was the car before was it a solstice?

  • wow, I never heard the tip about wiping cured body filler with acetone to remove that layer of resin, thanks for the advice. So you'd have less of a problem with sandpaper gumming up if you wipe it with acetone? is that the idea?

Oh yea, you waited until the next day to sand that filler, how come you don't get it close with a body file while it's still tacky? then finish sanding the next day? seems like you'd use less sandpaper and it'd be less effort. but maybe not as smooth? idk.

  • Check out "Kerrmann" he's doing one off creations and has some techniques that may help. Also "Hornitpilot". Nice work I would have run out of patience by now. Did you do your own CAD.
