Check out the set? What a difference! Remember the late 80s and early 90s with the vertical blinds that would have different color lights shining up depending on the daypart? Noon and 5:30 it was a gold color. Live at Five (yikes, now I'm dating myself), Six and Eleven would be a dark blue.

Wow - how quickly we forget those old graphics. Newschannel 8, as its called today, is slick by comparison!
Jon Crane left the station soon after 1996 and retired from TV. I believe he still lives in CT and has his own video production company.
