WOW, does this describe my ...situation! I love God, but I'm not ALL that good!!!!

When I was little, my dad went on the road with Joanna and Bob. I was in awe of her...I still have the 45 she gave me of Lies and Still I wanna See You. I'm so glad to have found her on here! :)

Thanks for sharing this! What fun! Would love to know where to hear more of this?! Does she still play?
Thinking about hosting Unknown Hinson here in Chattanooga -- might like to host a few piece gigs with it for fun if folks wanted to -- think she'd be interested? Thanks again!

A band named Southern Culture On the Skids did a cover of this - good call I'd say!

@MarkyFats Where is Joanna from? (a friend sent me this to me--it's cool!). I'd never heard of this OR Joanna before. I have LOTS of Neels in my background, mostly from Jackson Co Fl, Dotham Al, and Georgia.

This is my sister inlaw from the 60's.It was written by my brother Leon(Bob) Neel and Jo.It never recieved much acclaim but we all loved it.

Trust me this is my mother and this (her and Bob's version) is the 1st :)
This is such a fun song, this is my mother in law. She is a grand ole gal. My personal fav is Dingbat about Aunt Jerri. Contact Markyfats if you would like to hear more.

@MarkyFats
what other labels did your mother in law record for? I know that she also had a record on Starday. What label is Dingbat on?

I'm sorry Mike is my father, Bob was his father so that makes Bob my grandpa. I used to hang out with him when I was little. I'm sorry about Mike Neel that's Bob's son.

Hey bigZ150, any idea if this is the first version or if Betty Jo Bangs' on Tal Star was first? According to BMI your grandpa Bob was also co-writer with Joanna.
