Structure and Satanism

Inspired by the conversation on The Ooze (08-14-10). I know I am looking a little shaggy and fuzzy in this video. I need to get a hair-cut. My 10 year old is finishing up her last week with the dad for the summer and my 16 year old is getting ready for school. I've been tattooing like a mad-man... or rather some guy that tattoos excessively because mad-men should not be tattooing... and I haven't made time to see my barber.

Shawn Hartnell (don't know if that's the correct spelling) had some GREAT videos, but sadly he closed his account. Sadly when I went to review them (quite a few months ago) they were gone. Same thing with a user called hatesfury8.

Agreed, and I don't believe the purpose of the grotto program has ever been to create hierarchy.

I agree, attempting to structure Satan will be faced with opposition and rightfully so. I don't see this being done in general, but I do see small cabals attempting to organize their own belief structure into something that can inspire others. In terms of the 'hierarchy', perhaps its the Elitists who lead by example, and do not rely on their puffery to lead a flock to the slaughter.

@alisonleejones I am not opposed to coordination leading to the formation of cabals. Coordinating efforts with like-minded individuals only makes sense. Placing a structure, hierarchy, and systems over Satanism as a whole... not freaking likely!

may not be something you want to have yourself tied up with, but for the sake of reaching your end goals you make compromises. If the compromises are manageable, great - keep yourself honest. If those compromises take you so far from what you want, and who you are? Jump out of that band camp.

And I do agree, when we network we are getting there that much sooner. You have something you need? I may be able to provide it, I have connections. You have connections too? Great! Let's network! It's really not a difficult model to follow. I see it everyday on the web, all these familiar 'Satanic faces' networked together. All the while claiming they are independent. Pffft, you have support. That support often includes obligations. Those obligations...

Funny, I was just talking about this today. When Satanists reject any kind of networking or unification - what they really mean is, "I'm not in your band camp" but in reality, they are in someone's camp. We can unify and be different, have our own ideas, goals, etc. I ask that question all the time, and get no real answers. What are people on the LHP striving towards exactly? Is there strength in numbers, can we reach it that much sooner as one legion vs. a mass of 'individuals'?

great video. Satanism however has died ever since Lavey. (la veyan satnism) Satanism is all about your morals and your perspective of how you would like your universe to be. So many of today's Satanists are however very insulting and do not respect the structure they think is most pleasurable to other Satanists.....although Satanists are not generally compassionate in nature.
