Cummins diesel power yo. This was at NICOFest/Carlisle Performance and style. Watch Jeremy tear it up with his twin turbo diesel truck... Just listen to the thing boosting and roasting tires, not bad out of a truck that weighs 4 tons and has over 250k miles on it!

  • Sounds like he was goin around the corner with the clutch pushed in and RPM's up gettin ready to come out of the corner. Cause you can hear the engine bog donw and the tires start to smoke.

  • I own a Ford 7.3 manual diesel myself. I know how to float gears when shifting down but I don't get how he shifts at full throttle like at 1:59. It sounds like he's full throttle and then the truck shifts gears.

  • When you hear him reving that is him reving up to down shift. You have to match RPM's with MPH. When they match it will shift right in. Search youtube on how to float gears... Im sure you can find something.

  • Uhhh. . . you're right. LOL! How the heck does he shift while it's running full throttle like that?

  • Listen to 0:38. He explains it is an NV4500... thats a 5 speed manual dip shit. thanks for not paying attention though. :)

  • lol funny... I am a CDL driver. I have driven diesels with more torque and gears then you know. I have driven trucks with 14 gears, and a slit rear diff, and I have driven 18 speeds... All of which uses no clutch. I know how to shift and use RPM's to my advantage. Thanks for your input though.

  • It's an automatic, doofus.

  • Youve obviously never driven a stick diesel...

  • If your going to use a manual, learn to float gears better.. Your down shifts are taking way to many revs. As you slow down you should be able to skip a gear down, or just stay in that gear. With that much power it shouldnt dog it.

  • it's Fire Marshall Bill!
