@gwm666 The original '59-'60 El Camino was based on the full-size Impala. After it was discontinued and reintroduced in '64 it rode on the mid-size A-Body platform for most of its life up until the very end when GM switched the A-Body over to FWD. For the last few years the El Camino rode on GMs G-Body platform. Holden never used the A-Body or G-Body platforms for any of its cars. You're wrong. And even if they did, it would have been a case of a Holden being based on a Chevy at the time.
The previous owner just let that car go to craps; I bought it from a used car dealership (I never knew about the Sprint until that day!). The bed rusted through on some parts, above the rear tires, engine was dirty, oil leaks, SO much... and have been slowly fixing up the safety problems. That car being fully restored is practically my dream <3
Its 71 I can tell by the headlights 70 had 2 round 71 had 1 square

The title is incorrect there is no 1970 gmc sprint, 1971 is first year sprint.

I have never even heard of GMC Sprint. I saw my first one this morning in Woodville, TX on a car hauler carrying a 67 Stingray. Cool car for sure.

It is good that the car is only driven on pavement. I would hate to see it get STUCK.

One of those 25 is hiding in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada. It's a beautiful copper color and mint condition.

I wish GM would bring back the El Camino/Sprint. Maybe base it off a stretched Zeta with modified Camaro styling.
