Crashed PC fixes

You can't always save your work from crashes, I suggest that you save regularly, using ctrl+S as a shortcut to save. Save the same documents under different names, ie, 'Trees_001 , Trees_002' or have 2 which you alternate to save as, so if one fails or corrupts then you have another.

If you get a BSOD, it's probably some sort of conflict between hardware or software (or Windows ME :D) and you will need somebody who's good at computers to take a look and attempt to diagnose.

If you can move your mouse and the game has crashed, there are loads of things that you can attempt to rectify the situation. I go through loads of obvious ones, and some less obvious ways of fixing the problem. Who would have thought that 'almost' turning your PC off at the button would help? (Okay, it didn't this time, but some times it does)
