Yeah, it's easy to wish he could debate with someone not existing at the moment. It's easy to wish like empty wishes like that. It's easy to wish. It's all about wishing isn't it? :) I wish that, I wish this, I believe in this, I believe in that... always within the same level of visions. Always running away from facts and reason. @BachScholar Nobody wants a mental disorder. A mental disorder is different from a mental psychosis. Both are different from Mental retardation (whichever form you mean).

This is why you mustn't over generalise mental issues when you don't understand them. Basically I just want you to understand - I can see the point you are trying to make, but your metaphor doesn't work.

@BachScholar Will do, if the believers also let other people believe and especially do as they want. But since their organizations are constantly lobbying for legislature in accordance with the demands of their imaginary sky daddy, that simply is not an option.

If you try to do away with religion because it is a "mental disorder" then doesn't it make sense to also do away with mentally retarded people, or at least lock them up so they don't get in the way of the atheist agenda? Why can't you just let people believe what they want to believe and leave it at that? If one happens to love broccoli does that give one the right to do away with those who don't like broccoli? This Rational Response organization wreaks of intolerance and hate.
