The republicans have it hard here. They could go against their better judgment and let the jobs bill pass, thereby winning the election, because they did not "stand in the way" of job creation, or they could hold their ground on principal, and then get blamed by Obama for the high unemployment rate, possibly losing the election. Since they know the "jobs" bill (Obama reelection bill) will only put us further in debt, and do very little for the economy, they should hold their ground.

@Nikademus1969 I think you fail to understand that both parties have the banks and coperations in mind before us. Mr. Obama is no different. We are flat out broke and our currency is going down the drain yet he is doing nothing about it. He is not stopping the ridiculous spending we do over 150 bases around the world. He is not stopping bailing out the banks. He gave a solar company 500 billion dollars that went bankrupt within a year.
