  • @jookinmus thank you for your gracious comments! I fully knew that, thats why I put the word 'live' in the title!

I'm just trying to share my stuff so positive comments would be more appreciated.

  • I'm just curious, is this another footage from a UK tv show? If so, I must say UK TV had some Classic shows. I'm from the U.S. who loves her country I guess.

  • @miseththeymiseththey Probably from 'Solid Soul' or Soul Train which were both originated in UK during the late 80s and early 90s. Hope that helps!

  • @neofunkyman1 I'm sorry, but Soul Train did not originate in the UK.It was born in Chicago 1971 and nutured and grew in LA.Thank you very much.......

  • @Screwball263 I never said Soul Train did! In the 80s Jeff Daniels hosted a British version of it each week. It was then followed by Solid Soul which went out at the same time slot

  • To call this jam mid-tempo is doing it injustice. But it's not a rock-steady funk number either. It's somewhere in between where you can just as easily dance in a club as you could lean back in your lounge chair with an ice-cold lemonade. This group had a unique flavor that was all their own and this song features the signature female lead along with the laid-back beat, cool lyrics. Probably my favorite song by them and it takes me back to '86, a time of innocence and childhood, sadly missed

  • Byc na takiej,jednej, jedynej imprezie w życiu...Funk ! marzenie...5!

  • THIS MY FAV GROUP / BAND GROWING UP ..I STILL PUMP THIS AND ALL THEY GREATEST HITS ...IN MY FOREIGN !!!

  • This song's class. :)

  • @TheCalebson That's because it actually is O'neal on the original recording. the band member lip syncs the part. :-)

  • The bridge on this song is actually sung by Alexander O'Neal. The band member here lip syncs the bridge in Alex's place.

  • Glad to see the crowd are dancing, they appreciated it - would pay alot to see this performed live.

See some crowds that did not realise what they were hearing and just STANDING - sick

    Not this time though!

  • This is a blast from the past. Sad part about it is that the guy who sang ( or did the lip syn) the duet killed himself shortly after this video aired. His name was Marque Smith

  • The guy that is singing sounds so much like Alexander O"neal . Anyway, great video. Thanks for posting it.

  • neofunkyman: Thanks for sharing this great video from one incredible group.

rarabarak: Next time you see Mary, tell her she's got a fan here! I love her spirit and the chemistry and presence this group has on stage....so rare! Interesting that the later videos are just as good as the earlier ones!

  • I saw and talked to Mary Davis the other day. She is still so youthful looking and so nice.
