I think I spotted Nathaniel Mackey on the panel? I am a poet in ireland and made a documentary about Soundeye poetry fest and Nathaniel was one of the visitors!

Isn't it weird to meet someone like that? It must be surreal? If i was to meet Louis Gluck, for instance, i think i would pass out. My poetry teacher met her and said that her personality is so big you have trouble just being in the room with her.
Also, Derrida and Caputo have a lot of interesting stuff to say regarding the nature of Gift giving.

I met Hass in person once and what struck me most of all, was that he seemed like someone out of a Frank Herbert novel come to life. I did not analyze this, I thought it well enough to meet someone like that.
