Rant- Resident Evil 5 bashing (1/2)

Before people start saying crap like, "Bret, if that is your real name, you need to respect peoples opinions!" Realize this, first that is my real name, second I'm fine with people not liking RE5 but I just feel that some of the complaints against it are irrational.

RPG's dont suck. they can actually be quite fun, depending on who makes it. what i mean is: most japanese developers(like square enix.) make turn based rpgs or rpgs that u basically press a button and watch, and obviously most people wont like that. there games are jrpgs. but other companies(like bethesda or the people who made Bioshock) usually combine other genres with rpg(which is profoundly better than jrpgs) but rpgs dont just suck u just gotta b into em.

dead space is RE with better controls =P resident evil 5 is beautiful,dont get me wrong,but dead space is absolutely amazing

Yeah, I hate how people are bashing Resident Evil 5, technically, its not a Resident Evil game at heart, but a great game at its own standpoint.

It's pretty much just fanboy complaints. I have yet to pick-up Resident Evil 5, but I've heard it's a really great game.

my only complaints with RE5 are the controls, inventory and sheva's AI. and sadly those 3 elements are pretty hard to ignore. but to each his own i guess. for me the G4 review summed up the game perfectly.
