I'd rather reply 2 yr private message here. I simply don't agree. Speed cams catch people speeding, +only those who get caught get photographed +fined. The solution is in our hands, +the consequences for breaking the law rest on our own heads. Having seen a child killed by a speeding motorist, I can't but wish that more could be done 2dissuade bad driving. I agree with a lot of yr other concerns about 'Big Brother', but, in my opinion, your motoring issues are part of a quite different debate.

OK, but why worry about speed cameras? It's very easy to avoid being photographed and exploited by a speed camera. I'm glad of anything that makes idiots slow down and wish limiters were fitted as standard.

P.S. Kill the bank is a fantastic idea. Haven't had a bank account in 9 years and have worked all over the world. You do NOT need the bank, they need your money. We are the ones in charge, stop being lemmings and close your account - it is not worth the 2.5% per year, trust me... :-)
