Detroit River Gold Cup Race - Fly Over [100th APBA]

I was asleep at the beach on the shores of Belle Isle, Sunday, July 12, 2009. We knew about the flyover, without warning the jet appeared (there's usually 2-3 jets). First I photographed the plane hovering over the bridge (that was s-w-e-e-t). I wanted to hear the sonic booms right!!! So I pulled out the tiny emergency camera that lives in my purse!!!! This is also a good example of why I stay behind a digital camera instead of the small video camera that lives in my purse!!! My apologies, This is not my best video camera work...do not hold it against me...it is what it is...enjoy the view and our beautiful skyline!!! Detroit, Michigan...Yes I have beautiful close up stills of the jet (just) hovering over the bridge with the RenCen in the background!!! You try working 3 cameras at once with one monopod! Yes, I even lost the jet in the sky twice lol lol!! Besides this was not a paid job lol lol...you are viewing for free...I truly hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!!! That's what I get for sleeping on the beach and being scared too death by the noise...oh and it was really funny reaching for camera's I filmed this only 3 minutes after waking up...its ok! For a shaken camera syndrome. Don't write me notes!!! lol lol DISCLAIMER: This video is not a part of my dayt ime job or my night time job either.

i want to be an Airforce fighter jet pilot bad!!! im in AirForce junior ROTC and plan on being a pilot but have to try real hard, integrity first service before self and excellence in all we do!!!!!yeah!!!

Thanks for posting this. Good demonstration by the pilot.. they even produced (what looks like) a vapor cone at the end.. very nice.
