Is There A Bomb Aboard? - Oh Boy, Was This A Day?

This video is a documentary made from material "filmed" aboard a TWA 747 flying from Madrid Spain to New York USA in 1973. The people in it are real, not actors, and it involves bomb threats and ransom demands allegedly made by Basque Separatists. It is an interesting view into how regular people deal with life threatening situations beyond their control.

This was originally shot with an Akai ¼ inch video tape machine which never gained popularity and is long obsolete. The video had been transferred to ½ VHS tape in the 1980s and to digital media in 2006.

Is the video based in a real history? Cuz I've never heard nothing about that! ETA (Basque Separatist) will never do that!

Yes, this is a real recording made on the plane after the threat was phoned in. Take a look at the news archive at Vanderbuilt Collage for Jan 4, 1973 and you will see the news item listed.

It could be true but ETA born few years before 1973 so I dont really think that they were able to do so, maybe they were trying to "advertise" ETA. Anyway Iam Basque and I never heard about that but I'll find this info. Byeeeee
