i love metal but i dont get how people say that a type of music sucks just cuz they dont listen to it like u said....just like at my school....every time i pull out my f-ing phone out and listen to lamb of god an stuff,everybody`s all like "turn that piece of shit of!" or "that music is bullcrap".....and it happenes ALOT...thats why i dont like to listen to my music without earphones or somthing....why do middle school people (yes im in middle school) have to be so judging?

Metal has always been a maligned and misjudged category of music from day one. Like Sam Dunn said in his documentary, you feel it or you don't. It reminds me of when I was kid being told "that band worships the devil" or what other 3rd person hearsay they were regurgitating. I just learned to laugh off. Iron Maiden is still packing stadiums. I don't see Oingo Boingo or Cindi Lauper making a big comeback.

so it is not about justing B or whatever, is about the media, they say what you have to listen, what you have to watch, what you have to wear, etc, etc, so the key word here is MONEY.

as never before, kids are bombarded constantly and mercilessly with this kind of cheap music in this era, they have not listened ANYTHING by they selves, the mayority will not have true musical preferences in their adult ages only what media mandates

do you remember when you got metal from the very beginning in your life? I do, my parents gave me a sound minicomponent when I was 8, they said, - I don´t give a fuck what you will listen but keep your mind open to every kind of music, just fucking enjoy so I begun with Motzar piano works and Iron Maiden peace of mind LP. but you have to understand that nowadays is quite different, kids only listen what media want, so they are fashion consumers.
