  • I wish I had all the moviedrome intros tbh but all I had I have already put up. Its a shame the beeb wont put them up online somewhere for us to all to enjoy, instead of wasting resources & licence payers money on bbc iplayer, strictly come prancing & Jonothan Ross.

  • Wish someone had the Moviedrome for Performance, possibly the greatest movie ever

  • @blub4lls Amen to the Jonathon Woss comments - Moviedrome with Cox was excellent - thought provoking and educational. Something uncommon to just about anything on mainstream TV today.

  • Thanks so much for this, I'd also like to see all Cox's (and even Cousins) Moviedrome intros. Sure I must have a couple on vhs still, always thank him for being one of the key reasons I love cult cinema so much.

Come on dude Ross had his moments specially during Incredibly Strange Movie show. I doubt we will ever see such a bond between interveiwer/interviewee as we did during his Russ Meyer episode. And who can forget him introducing Weng Weng to British audiances with his Mondo Rosso series.

  • You can see the similarity between Django and Trinity as characters. Even the actors who portrayed them could be mistaken for brothers. A good film, brings back memories.

  • Mr Patel, from my local corner shop) and Alex Cox informed my early video world so impeccably. I pity the kids these days having every movie at their fingertips all the time without someone else providing a tacky world of exploitation to follow. Remember when movies were naughty to see just because you weren't supposed to see them. Bring back Alex Cox's Moviedrome!

  • Do you have the Alex Cox intro for Carny ? Shame they ditched Moviedrome always an interesting film they showed after the Cox intro.

  • Amazing stuff, this brings it all back. Got any more? I miss alex cox.
