  • Does anyone have the music for this that they could possibly send me via email? I'm desperately trying to find it for a recital.....

  • Seems youtube isn't happy about URLs. Google 'kim for snaredrum publisher' and you will find a link to the publishers website where you can order it :)

    Good luck!

  • Thank you, but I don't think it will get here fast enough for me to learn.... does anyone have an electronic copy?

  • Very good work! Check out my son's practice session 3 video. He is still working on it, though he will stick to the less than optimal rolls at certain places for now. Again, great job.

  • I think, instead of her "playing" Prim, she should write her own solo, where it's just like fifty bars of roll, where she can do whatever she likes.

Either that, or play the damn piece, haha.

    Or stick with marimba.

  • I heard her live playing Konzertstück. The roll was even boring for me...hehe

  • She.... Takes alot of liberties with that piece in particular.

It's like it's alot of 'Glennie-ized" excerpts. But hey, in another Masson pice, one for full symphone that slips my mind, she does a five-minute buzz roll at a fermata.

Thanks for the reply, and I'm looking forward to seeing future videos of your playing.

  • I dont have a video of Prim Im afraid. Just dont listen to what Evelyn Glennie is doing with the piece... That is for me a really weird interpretation and doesnt work for me.

  • Hey, can you post a video of you playing Prim?

I'm about to post mine, which I just played for my sophomore -of highschool- recital, and I'd like to see how a collegiate interprets this piece.

  • Nice one dude ! Thumbs up!
