  • Indeed, originally ARPainter has been made as a toy for the daughter. And she likes it!

  • ARPainter is a program for the free-hand spatial drawing of 3D objects.

The program makes the creation of complex, nonstandard 3D objects tens times faster. Effective for entertainment, movies computer graphics, scientific simulation etc.

ARPainter allows professional artists not having computer graphics skills to create end 3D products.

  • Yes, this is a very neat indeed.

As a 3D artist I cant *not* see using a system like this one day. To draw in mid air is going to be so much more intuative and quicker....no more time spent adjusting camera angles. Finaly making 3D objects without being restricted to 2D input and output devices!

I hope Autodesk are paying attention.

  • NEAT

  • oh, it seems to be not that rocket science from hardware and BoM, but pretty cool in action, thanks!
