  • Looks Awesome!! What did you use for the front hubs, spindles, ball joints, tie rods, rack-pinion?? I need to finish my build, FZ750... I'm trying to research what works best... so any info would be appreciated.. thanks!!

  • I used majority of parts from a C4 corvette except the composite spring. For spring and shocks I used rear coil overs form a Harley V-rod. Many use Vw front ends but I don't know why. I have kit cars with them, they are not light, handle poorly, brake poorly and are ugly. Vette uprights and A arms are aluminum and polish up beautifully. Good luck on your build.

  • Very nice job but it looks very heavy..what is weight?

  • 950 lbs

  • Thanks. No difference noticed. I purposely kept the wheelbase as short as possible by using a custom made, shorter, steel swing arm. My calculations indicate a center mounted engine would be off balanced when singly driven - mine is a compromise. Some engine weight is offset by having the race car radiator and a battery on the opposite side of the engine. If I found a buyer for mine, I would build another with almost identical layout. It handles like it is glued to the road, Wayne

  • Very, very nice job Wayne.

It looks like a 'factory' vehicle.

Are the uprights Corvette items also?

  • Thanks, and yes, the cross member, a-arms and spindles, brakes are C4 corvette, coil overs are rear from a Harley v-rod

  • How did you do the Front brakes? I though about building a trike and one problem is that if you don't keep a small amount of pressure on the front brakes, the cup seals will leak. I thought about using a combination valve. Would you think that would work?

  • does it have reverse gear?

  • How much would you sell it for if you had a buyer? or how much to fabricate just a rolling frame?

  • Cool check out the Rt im building on my page...

  • do you have a scematic of your design? are you willing to share? you have some good design ideas here.

  • @never2oldmn not bad.. very clean build..
