Blew head gasket at the track 2 days prior. Decided to beat it a little and try and blow the motor as I had a fully built engine waiting to go in.

  • The car IS mine. Just to clarify for you guys. The engine was a stock 2jzge motor. 5 out of 6 cyl's had low compression from years of abuse from previous owners. After the head gasket blew at the track I decided to beat it a little and see if it would blow. Well it didn't. Turbo was a 67mm and boost was set at 29psi with a 7500 rpm rev limit. Drove it home and installed a built motor and larger turbo among other things.

  • props to me cause I have a SMALL crack in mine and I was nervous as fVck! Glad to see a turbo 2j can hold this load LOL! (I will replace after Christmas and I am babying the hell out of my engine till then)

  • toyotas just like fuck you

  • @phleshR2FK I have had a few of them and have one right now that my dad just gave me. A few months back I sold my 93 Lexus SC300 5 speed with Gram light wheels, IS300 steering wheel, Supra TT front brake upgrade, wise rear spoiler, front lip, Megan Street coilovers, HKS exhaust, and Supra floor mats. Sold for $6500 My dad just gave me his Stock 92 SC300 5 speed with Supra TT wheels on it. If I were to sell it since the engine is in need of a little work, $4500 since it's really clean/nice.

  • blown head.. jesus christ. o.0 you wouldnt fucking think so, was it stock?

  • white smoke...yep...thats a head gasket.

    lol

  • god damn that sounds sick! looks fun!

  • wat motor was it

  • damn, i had seen these before but never knew they were rwd......how much do these run for in ok conditions???

  • BADASSSSSS for a blown gasket.. haha.. i love that turbo spooling sound... if only a 2jzge would fit in either a 96 eclipse or mazda 3 hatch with minor modification..haha... but i guess that'd be like trying to fit a square into a circle.. not made to be done..
