Of course, the engine was properly detailed after it was nestled into that fully restored engine bay, and surrounded with date-code correct parts throughout, making this a highly accurate car. The intake is correct, the water pump is correct, the carburetor is correct. The power brake and power steering systems have been fully restored as well. The transmission is the original automatic matched to the stock 3.73 geared rear end.

Inside is one of the nicest interiors I've seen in a long time. Black seats are a perfect complement to the car's racy but sophisticated exterior, and every single piece looks great. From the sun visors to the carpet. The seats have nice foam and covers, the door panels are like new, and the dashboard is full of SS-correct gauges. All the glass is correctly date-coded and tinted, the shift lever is the correct unit, and an AM/FM sound system is nestled into the center of the dash. The SS steering wheel looks and feels flawless. So think back to 1971 and pick your favorite brand of muscle. If you're a Chevy guy, a car like this SS 454 El Camino is truly something special.
