The United States is NOT a christian nation. It has a secular government and there is freedom of religion. Just because a majority of people claim the christian religion, that does not make a nation a christian one. Additionally, our founding fathers were not Christians...most of them were deists which is very different from christian.

Charles Colson is an awesome example of what God can do to save someone and completely turn their life around. God has used him over the past 35 years to bless millions and stir the Church of Jesus Christ into being more salt and light, pushing back the darkness and demonstrating how God's way works best. Read one of his books - a christian worldview is the only worldview that makes sense and fits reality!

Colson represents all of us. Think of it....this is a man who readily admits the mistakes he made, and has lived for Christ for the past 35 years. I relate to Colson because I relate to his flaws....we all have them. But i also relate to Colson's redemption through Jesus Christ! Colson is a shining light!

Colson supports Bush and his crimes, such as 9/11, The Patriot Act and wars based on lies. No nation on earth has been so blessed by God and yet spits in God's face daily with its crime around the world. Pastors have become FBI rats who will tell on you for saying things against the criminal US government. Putting it simply; If God doesn't rain fire on the USA today, He must apologize to Sodom & Gomorrah tomorrow !!!

Seeking the opinion of Charles Colson (who lost his license to practice law after being convicted of a felony involving dishonesty and moral turpitude)on issues regarding "Christian morality in the public arena" is akin to seeking the opinion of a convicted pedophile regarding running a vacation Bible school for children.
