  • @Jormungandor Wrong! To demonstrate human's nature's corruptability, the Joker had to use someone who was someone was intolernt towards corruption and take him through the wringer. The Joker's character takes great delight in demonstrating hypocrisy. THAT IS WHY DENT'S CHARACTER WAS NECESSARY. Go watch all six episodes of Gotham Tonight on your Blu-ray and don't make another argument until you do. Watch all of them and THEN you can look me in the face and tell me that. Two-face was done well.

  • @regulator619 And it's all because you don't want to admit your oh so precious Nolan could have any flaws. He slipped up with Two-Face, doesn't ruin the film, just could've been done better. Simple fact. Now for god sake, stop crying over me not wanting to join you in licking Nolan's ass and move on with life.

  • @regulator619 And all you've done so far is verbal jizz yourself over Nolan again and again. The man is a great filmmaker yes, but the Two-Face was weak in the movie in comparison to the way Joker was handled in the movie. Two Face was rushed and half-assed and as a movie goer I wasn't as enthralled by his character as I was Commissioner Gordon, Joker and even the very weakly done Batman. Joker's plan would've worked fine even without Harvey. You're making him far more important than he was.

  • @Jormungandor what about the Joker's plan? By taking that over-done shitty route, you would have taken away all excellence from the film, especially the Joker's torment away from him. All you've said so far is that Two-Face wasn't handled the YOU WANTED HIM TO BE. But he waqs not handled incorrectly at all. this was the most logical and believable rendition of two-face AND the Joker that the world has ever seen. Nolan was able to juggle each character and give them all screen-time. TWAS'GOOD

  • @regulator619 I wouldn't have tried it in the first place. I would've introduced Harvey just as the DA, hinted at his instability throughout the movie and at the end either had his face burned and him in the hospital, or done that earlier on and the very end just done something subtle with him as Two-Face leading into the third film like they did a the end of Begins with Joker. Also would've either written Dawes out or re-written/re-cast her so she carried the weight she was supposed to.

  • @Jormungandor ok man. Im glad to see you give up and accept the truth. PS the whole emotional resonance of the film hinges on Harvey's downfall. Besides did you think about the fact the the film was already two and a half hours. how else would you handle harvey dent and the joker better in such time frame. Two was handled exceptionaly well as a charaqcter and this isnt a matter of opinion either. His charqacter followed all the traditional guidelines for a tragic hero and stuck with the theme

  • @regulator619 I don't have a problem, I have the damn blu-ray, I just disagree with you. You've read the books that's fantastic. You liked the movie more, a little disappointing but it's your choice. For the third and final god damn time, I liked the movie, I just think the books did handle Two-Face much better. Fucking fanboys, swear to god, say one thing against their hard-on and you're an idiot. I'm done with this.

  • @Jormungandor Look perhaps I haven't mentioned it but I have read TLH and YO. Which is why I'm telling you that you're points are invalid beacuse this film has done more in 2.5 hours than those comics did in their full lengths. And TDK followed a large amount of themes and saw them off to the very end. Two-Face was the emotional aspect to this. It showed his struggle very clearly. Now let encourage you to watch this(found on TDK blu-ray): watch?v=ksCX63DxSXY

There r 6 episodes solving your prob

  • @regulator619 I'll leave you with this, I've never said that Nolan failed with this movie. I said he missed a beat, many of those critics you so adore for praising him, I highly doubt have any real idea of the source material. If at any point you find the ability to step off your high horse, I encourage you to pick up Batman: Year One, Long Halloween and Dark Victory. I promise, you won't regret it and perhaps gain some idea of what I'm talking about.

  • @regulator619 I was just about to say the same thing to you. You clearly have very little understanding of the actual Batman mythos and cannon outside of the films. I was just looking to try and perhaps perk your interest in the books which tell the story much better. But you're obviously not willing to go outside your comfort zone and set your aside your apparent Nolan fanboy behavior. You're coming off as a pretentious dick instead of a objective & logical individual which is disappointing.
