Benjamin's Hope, story of life and death of baby Benjamin

The inspirational story of the life and death of our son Benjamin Elijah Andrew Raven.

He was born with Trisomy 18 or Edward's syndrome. The doctors recommended his life be terminated in the womb because of the discovery of the syndrome! This was repulsive to us! They said he would die at birth, then after a couple of weeks and yet he over came. Three cists on his brain dissapeared after much prayer, 6 holes in his heart closed up, he had all sorts of issues and yet he continued to defy his death sentence...Halleluia!

The unexpected happened when his visiting nurse caused an embolism and he died as a result!

Benjamin did not die as a result of his medical condition but as a result of a medical accident!

His memory lives on in us and the experience changed us for ever and for good. For now Benjamin is home, so it is only a matter of time until we meet again.

I am so sorry for your loss, you had a beautiful and strong child! He's in God's hands now <3 I was wondering what Edward's Syndrome is because in my Medical class I had to do a report on Benjamin's Syndrome so I'm really confused.

My heart goes out to this family!! What absolutely disgusts me is how rude some of the comments are! If you do not agree with this then don't watch it but please don't completely trash the family. I too wouldn't do a video like this however every person has a right to grieve in their own way. Benjamin's memory is kept alive through this video and even though i dont know him or his family through this video i am able to add this family to my prayer list! R.I.P little man

@trisheeloveslucas If American cemeteries are like the ones out here where I live, I think they wouldn't put him there because of the possibility that another grave would go on top. Our cemeteries have at least 12 feet so 2 coffins can go inside. That part I can understand n I think they wanted t raise awareness for Edward's syndrome or sumn. (I'm just assuming still)
