@tsurakuunai you know what I realized from reading your comment, is that Misuzu has a Jesus quality to her in that she's pure of heart, essentially free of sin, loves everyone, and only care about the well-being of others and making them happy. She also has a weak body and succumbs to the insecurities of men that want to control her. Taking upon the suffering of all those after her so that no one will bear the curse she had to endure. Yukito becoming a bird is also related

@sprtsfanatic1 I think that's the reason people love to watch anime so much. Because the amount of work they put into them really shows. I agree with you about Clannad After Story, that's one of very few animes that I've actually cried during.

everyone dont forget the curse is broken and know one will sufferr anymore and its all thanks to misuzu and yukito because misuzu walked and broke that curse and it has been lifted and now no one will suffer anymore.besides it was the monks fault that cursed her any way to not find happiness and love and friends. but now she is free the curse is gone because of their efforts and they can rest in peace well yukito is now a bird as yu can see but when he dies again he'll be able to be with misuzu

@SailorMiku I feel you on this. Trust me though, every piece of artwork done by Key/Visual Arts with Jun Maeda and Shinji Orato have created shear artistic genius! Try getting through Clannad After Story without tearing up and I would be astonished. Even the toughest guys have admitted that the music, themes, atmosphere, and overall mood the scenes set eventually get to them. Just goes to show how much energy goes into these visual novels, and that's why they are so well done
