I am a diehard Joan fan and I love this song . Shame she hardly performs it in her shows these days - neither this or Shouting Stage. But great to see it again.

Hunnybrit, the name of that song is "It could have been better". Its on her first album "whatever's for us"...maybe someone will put it out here....

i guess, she was one of the last big personalities, persons in that business, before the age of boygroups and all that.

great musician, composer. also for me she's a hero.

I always think she's some kind of unsung hero in the history of popmusic. She's such an incredible songwriter & singer for so long, really a long time. And she put some important melodies & lyrics in my heart & soul likes this one... !! ThanXXX

Does anyone have my fav. I think it was called" Please forgive me". One line was "Please forgive me if I show no sign of reasoning, or consideration, in my bleaker times." Then it gets better. "I'm back in the sunlight again,and I'm so glad-it's only joy I want to give to you..."

This song always gives me goosebumps, I love the whole Me Myself I album, a classic forever!
