  • Awesome.

In a time where many dog owners don't exercise their pets enough, I'm glad to see you take the time, effort and care to have Koda join you in your adventures. Congratulations.

    A couple of questions...

    1. Where is the attachment point in your harness for Koda?

    2. Do you think you could pull up Koda's weight using a frog system?

    3. Do you take Koda caving?

  • Thank you for your positive comments. i worked with Koda daily for all her live, she is my best friend with 4 feet.

    To answer your questions

1 Attachment points - There are 3 at all times, no exceptions. When I climb I found it easier for her to be attached to my chest harness. She is also tethered to my rack with a prussic that allows me to shift her weight from my chest to the rack after I change over.

  • 2. I have not tried with a frog system. She is 44 lbs and it is pretty easy to climb with her on the rope walker. I would guess is that it would as easy since you are using both legs to lift the extra weigh compared to one leg with the rope walker.

  • 3. I have not and would love to. It will be a while before that will happen since the infection of WNS.
