CORRECTION #1 - The second chord of the verse the 4th string is muted. So its just 11] 9] X] 11] X] X]

CORRECTION #2 - The fourth chord of the verse is not on frets 5 and 8 as I stated (verbal error only), its on frets 5 and 7, which you probably figured out but I thought I would mention it.

CORRECTION #3 The riff directly before the chorus is only played three times (not four). Make sure to let the third time around ring into the chorus.

Thank you so much for this, i read a couple tabs online but i could tell they were wrong because i saw how far up on the guitar whats his name had on his neck, and i kinda thought it was drop C cause a few of their other songs were drop C as well. Thanks again!!!!

@twiztid2kool easiest way - get a tuner and drop all the strings down a whole step. this songs is played in drop c - CGCFAD, and to tune it to drop D by ear - drop your 6th string to make it a lower octave of your 4th string so they'll both be C. Sorry i'm not going to try and explain how to tune to whole step by ear because thats a major pain in the ass and it's hard to get it on key as the other strings will go sharp or flat as you tune the others.
