@therangeroverfan You're right, my newer videos are much clearer and better, but the contents aren't as helpful as the ones that I speak not so clearly. How unfortunate!

Thanks for the video, I agree with some others that you talked too quickly right at the start of the video - I think you were reading it? but the rest was very good - especially the firewall settings - maybe you could have added the settings info or a link under the video?

@poojkhgf Sorry for speaking too fast in the video! Setting info was the info that I quickly came up from my experience with Linux and hat typed into notepad so I could read in the video. After the video, I closed the notepad as usual and the info was lost! Simple as that, therefore I had not a link for you. Sorry!

can you make a video on how to operate snort and configure it
MrLoekanle 5 months ago
@MrLoekanle I'll look into this. I'm not an expert on snort, but I guess if I take a look at it, I might know something that I can show people who don't know anything about snort!

@jupperify Not 100%, because you never know a bug within any computer system, whether it is Ubuntu or Windows or FreeBSD or Mac, can actually allow hackers to exploit and take over such a system. The more security measures you have implemented, the harder hackers have to try before he or she can take over your computer system. Just be vigilant on securing your system, then you should be somewhat safer than otherwise. Remember, dangerous links in emails and websites can be just as bad.
