  • Send this to all the 49er fans Simon Phillips is one David Gilmour can adapt to any style He is amazing

  • I have loved and adored this mans music, especially his solo stuff sense the beginning, BUT, Pete totally botched this song!

  • Pete used David Gilmour as his guitarist as he feels David was a much better guitarist than he was, Pete will even attest. In fact, David was his first choice of guitarist for The Who's 1989 reunion tour but David was unavailable due to the Pink Floyd Momentary Lapse Tour was extended into a third year. Townshend would play with Gilmour again in 1996 at Hyde Park this time with The Who.

  • @jackskillet....very understandable on your emotions....this song is so much more than just a good beat and it's pretty much true Townshend at his most creative!! Good artists have "that special way" of conveying their angst and in doing so "they" make their listeners FEEL DEEPLY and in the end, we ALL sing along!! Keep Rocking my man...^5's

  • Yep. That's David Gilmore. Pete was quoted as saying at the time he really wanted to pair up David Gilmore and Simon Phillips based on their styles. He was right. You listen to Give Blood and their styles worked very well together, with Pete's guitar in the mix too. The Deep End band ruled...except that '80s bass the bass player is using. Man is that dated. :)

  • @RR122166 Fairly sure it is. Gilmour did such an amazing job on Pete's song "Give Blood".

  • A classic song that reminds me of my days on the radio.

  • It is Gilmour

  • Don't cry, leftists. This song is about how you should be ashamed of yourselves. You wanted to break apart the extended and nuclear British family and you are now suffering the consequences. Congradulations, Marxists!!!
